Enjoying life in full stride.
At an early age I developed an interest in athletics, fishing, camping and model aviation. These exciting activities helped create an open mind and a thirst for adventure.
In 1985 I received a degree in commercial recreation. My goal was to become an activities director for a reputable vacation resort. The place where I began the journey was a fantastic location to sharpen the skills needed for recreation management. Snow skiing , tennis, water sports, golf, festivals and beautiful scenery provided a wonderful opportunity.

After three months the master plan became distorted. While snow skiing, I fell and slid head first into the base of a tree, breaking my neck at the fourth cervical vertebrae. The crushed spinal cord left me completely paralyzed from the shoulders down. After one year of recovery and a determined pursuit for a fulfilling life, I discovered the art of painting.
For Christmas 1986, I received a set of Crayola watercolors. Without prior experience, an adventure began that has provided tremendous enjoyment.

Through painting I remain active outdoors, visually absorbing all that nature provides, documenting interests and sharing my passion for life. Also Sharing this passion, is my wife Anne. Without her love and tireless enthusiasm, the artistic pursuits and happiness that I cherish would not be possible. Having been together for 17 years we have battled to find direction in our bizarre, difficult and sometimes chaotic life.
An intricate part of that direction has been Anne's incredible effort to discover methods for showing what I have accomplished with a paint brush. The marketing of Originals, calendars, notecards, limited edition prints and an always growing show schedule has paved the way to our current strength.
